Sensei Paul P. Belle Isle, 4th Dan, Shindo Jinen-Ryu
Karate-Do
Sensei Paul Belle Isle began martial arts training in
1985 at Cornell University, where he earned first dan
ranking in Shito-Ryu karate. He has also trained
extensively in Shotokan karate under Sensei Teruyuki
Okazaki in the District of Columbia and Sensei Masataka
Mori in New York City.
Sensei Belle Isle joined Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai in
1999, training under Sensei Howard High, and is fourth
dan in Shindo Jinen-Ryu karate. He taught in Kansas City
from 2001-2005 and is now ranking instructor at the
JKR-Saint Louis dojo.
Sensei, Amir Kundalic, 2nd Dan, Shindo Jinen-Ryu
Karate-Do
Sensei Amir Kundalic has been training in karate since
1988, beginning in his native Bosnia. He holds second
degree black belt rank in Shotokan karate from the
Bosnian Karate Federation, as well as second degree rank
in Shindo Jinen-Ryu from Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai. An
instructor since 1990, he has taught widely in Bosnia
and Herzegovina, providing training for the Bosnian
Special Forces of Police.
Sensei Kundalic was a member of the Bosnian National
Karate Team, and national champion for that country for
three years straight, beginning in 1993. He joined JKR
in 1997, training under Sensei Howard High in Kansas
City, before founding the Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai dojo
in Saint Louis, where he is chief instructor.
